meet miguel gonzalez

Born and raised in TEXAS, Miguel Gonzalez is married to his wonderful wife Karina, together they have an amazing 4 year old son also named Miguel. Mr. Gonzalez currently lives in Missouri City and works for KIPP public schools.  He owns multiple small businesses and the Gonzalez family proudly attends St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

“I was asked pretty late in the game to take on the challenge of running in SD17.  It took me by surprise.  But after speaking with my wife, and lots of prayer, I decided that I couldn’t say no. I realized that I’m not satisfied with the direction society is going, and that if I was ever going to make a difference in this world for my son, and for those that follow, now would be the time to start.”

As an educator, and entrepreneur Miguel is an excellent communicator with litigation experience as a former Local Chairman for the SMART-TD. 

“My passion for helping others is rooted in everything I do. My mother is an educator, and my dad a retired contractor; all I know is to work hard and help others”.
